What's the Point of a Blackberry?

So, what is the BlackBerry attraction that causes so much extra to pay for the device through the PDA / smartphone?

Here are a few desserts to wet your whistle ... and get you thinking.

* Camera Flash - I've yet to see a Palm OS device with him, and only some Windows Mobile devices have it. Every BlackBerry has a camera that has bljeskalicu.Kamera feature is almost useless without a flash, from what I can tell.

* Software - Probably not as wide variety as well as Windows Mobile, but probably better than the Palm OS. I remember feeling like Palm OS, but it's basically dead. Only one manufacturer makes the devices with Palm OS, and even they make Windows Mobile phones as well.

can be seen by people who no longer BlackBerry program, but not for Palm OS.

* 3G -. Most blackberries are not supported, but this is rapidly changing

* GPS / Wi-Fi - With BlackBerry, you had to choose one or the other, if you want a built-in. But again, this is changing. Some of their devices have both. I've never heard of Wi-Fi Dongle, but there is a Bluetooth GPS. So if you want both, get a Wi-Fi built-in and get the Bluetooth GPS.

* BlackBerry keyboard - If there is no QWERTY keyboard, then you have the ability to SureType (different input mode). Since getting my Blackberry, I decided that I hated SureType so I turn it off. It's still easier than typing the word using a normal phone. Instead of pressing the "2" button three times to the letter "C" and press "7" key once. Also, there is a shift key, and you only have to press both buttons to get the punctuation characters.

* Touchscreen -. Most berries do not have it, but some do not

* I do not know what the OP has a plan, but for $ 70 plus tax (on Sprint) there is a plan that has 450 minutes and lets you have unlimited data and messaging. For that price, I doubt it would cost more each month.

* I did not notice that the $ 20/mo. the ability to access the BES server, but it is meaningless, unless you have a BES server to connect.

If you can think of more reasons to get a Blackberry (or even a dislike them) .... Feel free to leave a comment.
