When I open several programs at once, my computer slows way down. Is this normal?

Here's a quick solution, use Windows ReadyBoost. After the computer's memory gets full and you try to open up more things, the excess gets stored on a hard drive that is the way slower than memory. ReadyBoost allows your PC to store the excess on a flash drive instead.
